Maria & Nikos

Maria and Nikos wanted a day that felt like a long family dinner that simply never ended — and that is exactly what we made. We began in the quiet of the morning, the dress hanging in soft window light, and finished long after midnight with bare feet on a warm stone terrace.

Between those two moments was everything: the held breath at the aisle, the laughter that broke the tension, the toast that made the whole table cry. Photographing by the sea at Sounion, the light did half the work for me. I simply stayed close and stayed quiet.
